Syscodia: monitoring 120+ servers in real time with MURAQB
How Syscodia replaced a legacy monitoring patchwork with a single UAE-hosted platform.

The problem
Syscodia's infrastructure had outgrown its monitoring. Three separate tools — one for servers, one for network, one for applications — each with its own dashboard, each with its own alerting rules. When something went wrong, it took the on-call engineer ten minutes to figure out where to look before they could start diagnosing.
The data was scattered. The alerts were noisy. And none of it was hosted in the UAE.
What we did
We replaced the patchwork with a single MURAQB deployment, fully hosted inside the UAE, covering:
- Server health (CPU, memory, disk, network) on 120+ physical and virtual servers
- Application-level monitoring for the six customer-facing services
- Network path tracing for the three critical upstream links
- SSL certificate expiry alerts, synthetic transaction monitors, and log aggregation
The cutover happened in phases over six weeks. Week 1–2 was agent rollout. Week 3–4 was migrating alerting rules and tuning thresholds. Week 5–6 was shutting down the old tools and training the on-call team on MURAQB.
Outcomes
- 80% faster outage response. Average time-to-acknowledge dropped from roughly 10 minutes to under 2, because alerts now land in one place with enough context to act.
- Fewer false positives. The noise from three overlapping systems became a single tuned alert stream.
- UAE data residency. All telemetry stays in-country — a hard requirement that was previously impossible with the old stack.
What Syscodia said
"MURAQB transformed our operations. We went from reactive firefighting to proactive oversight in weeks, not months."
— Yasir, Syscodia
